Steering wheel mounted control lights
2006 1500 Z71 ext cab sb LT3
Some of my steering wheel control lights don't light up, I checked the manual and it says nothing. Are the bulbs located behind the controls or does it use fiber optics.

I just googled it and this is what I found.....
I have a 2005 chevorlet silverado 1500 that the controls on the steering wheel work but they don't light up?
Best answer....The entire switch needs to be replaced. You can not change a bulb in these. The unit pulls out and unplugs. I just replaced the volume control. Part cost $24.70 at dealer.
Guess you need to buy the switches that are not working...

Thanks UH60, Ive got like 3 of the controls that don't light up. Little things like that drive me nuts when they're not working.
