Default Tailgate damper
I came across this product a couple of months ago, tried it and love it. It is a damper you install on your tailgate so you can open without the worry of it slamming open. I like it and thought I would share.

Check it out, www.ezdown.com. Did I waste my money?

neat idea but i would try just not droping the gate first see how that works.
