Default Transmission problems

i am having magger leaking under my truck (transmission) it is leaking. The dealer said i need to replace the bearing and the seals. I was wondering if i can replace the bearing without droping the transmisson?

O and it is a 2000 4x4. Single cab 6.0L.

[hr]Nope! You gotta drop the trans. If you intend to keep the truck and it has over 100K on it, it is more cost effective in the long run to rebuild the trans since you have to drop it anyway.

how many miles are the truck.. yeah you are going to have to drop the tranny, transfer case, and drivshaft to replace the seals unfortionally
