Truck Shakes while accelerating

I have a 2007 Siverado LTZ with the Duramax Deisel Engine. While pulling an 8000 lb boat, the truck vibrates or shakes while accelerating. Its a pretty strong shake, and even the wife noticed it. When I back off on the gas, the shake lessens significantly. It typically only does this on the back roads, and not on the Interstate. At first I thought it was the suspension, but now I am thinking it may be the transmission. The tongue weight is only 300 lbs, and the triple axel trailer isn't bouncing or swaying at all.

The dealer doesn't have an idea, and I'm afraid I may have a break down on a lengthy trip. Has anyone heard of this or does anyone have any ideas on what this may be?

Thanks

RE: Truck Shakes while accelerating

we have had a couple issues with Drive shaft giving a vibration in trucks, could be your problem, may be slightly unbalanced,
