What is the engine size of the 6.0?
I have heard many engine sizes for the VMax 6.0- I also heard that it was an LS2 engine with a different intake. It is all aluminum block and heads. I am thinking it is a 383 or something close. Anybody know the scoop?

It is a 366 CI, but it is not an exact replica of the Corvette motor. Same basic low end design, but it is an iron-block w/aluminum heads. There are a few differences not to mention the compression ratio.

I sure thought i had an all aluminum block and heads. Let me look again. Maybe it's the way it's painted.

blackmax,
The SEA displacement for the 6.0L is 364.3ci to be exact.
Your GMT900 Silverado is equipped with the L76 aluminum block 367hp Vortec Max with VVT.
This engine is not exactly the same as the LS2 however it shares the same basic Gen-IV 6.0L architecture but differs in camshaft profile, intake track design, fuel injector size and compression ratio the engine software mapping and exhaust are also different and the LS2 does not have the Variable Valve Timing (VVT).
