New here so bear with me. MY 5.3 Chevy Silverado had a fixed orfice PCV and parts store sold me one with check ball. Will this hurt anything or should I put the old one back? It really wasn't bad.

Did you ever install that oil catch can? Thinking of putting one on my Suburban.

Where is the pcv valve on 2009 chevy 3500 express van, 4.8 motor

I think 03 or 04 and newer is a fixed orifice style ( Integrated in the drivers side valve cover ) you need to replace the valve cover itself.
