won't go into tow mode

Hi Sammy,
There is sort of a known wear-point for the wiring for the tow mode button. This link does a pretty good job of summing up the issue.

did you check the fuse? there could be a blown fuse either under your hood in the electrical center or on the side of the dash behind the fuse cover on the driver side. if the fuse is good try looking for a loose wire or disconnected wire. thats all i can tell ya.

The 4x4 switch on the dash took a dump on my way to work during a snow storm. It had been acting up I replaced it and founf 3 blown fuses. I thought maybe this was the problem it didn't fix it.

I have an 88 Samuria with a 6" lift 31" tires locked front and rear with a gear reduction set in the tranfer case. I Also have Polaris and Honda 4x4 atvs my kids ride. I take my Samuria out with the local ATV club on rides, not a lot of places I can't follow.
