unable to change email address
 

I too am having a issue with the email portion of the forum. I need to change my email address but when the new one is entered, I get a message saying that email is in use. How can this be? It is mine and not shared. Also, I have unsubscribed from all forums to curtail the email notifications however I still get the notifications of new messages in the email.

Do I need to kill the current user name and password and re-apply with the new information?

Ok I got the email to change however it still shows the WRONG email in the profile and I have no clue as to how I changed it. I checked the properties of the email and saw that it was the right address however I still get notification when new posts arrive although I am not subscribed to any forums.
Anyone know of a way to get this to stop? It sort of runs a bunch of email through my free account. '

Howdy, I just went thrue the prosses. Go to My Profile at the top of page, Go inand deleat your e-mail name, Also uncheck anything to do with e-mail. Go to Subscriptions locatedin My Profile, you will see a list, uncheck what is there. Down at the Fast reply and Post reply , where you type your ? uncheck Notify me via e-mail when someone replies This should stop the e-mail.
