Bad def tank
 

just purchased this truck 3000 miles ago and right now is a $70000 paper weight.They can not seem to locate a tank? The codes i dont know exactly....something about heaters in tank are all out of spec and say to replace the whole tank which they can not seem to locate.They showed me some special order letter about the part...but no part.Has this been an issue with these new trucks that I did not read about before i purchased this truck.2500HD LTZ 2021

The dealership has to fix it on warranty.

I know this ....they do not have the part and can not tell me when they are going to have one....THAT IS MY ISSUE I have a $70000 paperweight

def tank heaters are a common problem for all makes. back order on parts means everyone else is having the same problem. good thing you are under warranty cause the exhaust after treatment issues are numerous and expensive.

Going on week 6 and no def tank for my truck. It’s BS. Told me they were shipping on week 4 now there saying don’t know when it will be shipped
