Default What went wrong?

i had gotten my chevy lowered acouple of years ago and since then it rides like it has no shocks the ride is verryyyy stiff and bumpy. what did they do wrong or what? on the rear shackles i notice the kept the old ones on but just added a flat bar to raise the shackle and the front is like the cut the springs

Lowered anything does not ride well. The more money you spend on the kit the better it will ride. However it will still be rough

OEM coil springs are designed for progressive tension as the spring compresses. When your springs were cut, you lost alot of springs ability to flex.

Check to make sure the slip yoke on the driveshaft isn't bottomed out on the tail housing of the trans. The driveshaft is at a downward angle. As the truck gets lowered (axle raised), the distance between front and rear yokes is lessened, and the slip yoke will slide forward (if it has clearance to). If your yoke was already close before getting lowered, it could be binding against the trans now.
