Default 07-08 Grill Replacement

Anybody replace a grill on their Tahoe without removing the front bumper fascia?
The GM instructions seem extreme and very hard to read.

The 4 bolts on the top section come off simple, how do you get the clips on the sides disengaged? I see one clip on each side, but my hand and arm doesn't reach from the center.

Do the headlight assemblies need to come out? Seems like once you get the top section off the bottom s/b no problem.

The side clips are a bitch. It just takes some time to get the tabs bent around. Here is a install guide I wrote up after I did mine:
