'07 tahoe - REAR END SQUEAK!?!?
 

My Tahoe is an '07 and has 37,000+ miles on it. The rear end squeaks like crazy on even the slightest bumps andit sounds horrible. WHAT CAN I DO TO STOP THE SQUEAKING?

Does it sound like it could be coming from the rear liftgate latch or the suspension?

My 07 Tahoe started squeaking at around 7k ended up being a blown shock.

What's also weird about my squeaking is that on a full tank of gas the squeak becomes very minimal but as my gas tank gets more empty the squeaking gets louder and becomes more persistant.

Any more thoughts?

Loose or damaged fuel tank straps or a spare tire that is not tightly butted/retracted up underneath the body..

I will check that out once it stops raining, see if I can't get to the bottom of this....
