2000 suburban help ( gas mileage, performance, tune up, maintenance)
hi? i just bought a 2000 suburban lt with 185k miles. since i just bought the vehicle, i notice that when i start it the brake pedal jumps or kicks up. what am i suppose to do to prepare this vehicle last me for a long time? and what am i suppose to do to get better gas mileage? and what mods am i to do to increase performance? what filter, spark plug and spark plug wires should i use and that can help with gas mileage and performance. tire psi what am i suppose to look for? what is your advice for me? the center console. at the back of it, it has RAC plug in inputs what are they for? thanks |
Welcome to the forum.
Driving like an old lady will improve mpg as will running 30-35 psi in tires. OEM plugs, wires, etc are the best bet. Check out Blackbear Performance for a tune. Best bang for your buck. RCA jacks are most likely for an overhead DVD player. Good luck w/ your new ride. |

Are you running a HD truck tire? Haven't look lately but I think my max pressure is around 45 psi.

Kind of what I thought. My Sprinter RV is at 65 psi.
