2001 Tahoe lights work sporatically
 

My 2001 tahoe headlights work for a few hours then stop. All fuses and bulbs are good. I removed the dash switch, the lights work even without the switch attached. same problem with my 99 Chevy 1500. They work for a few hours and then turn off OR don't come on at night when I start the truck. Checked relay, fuses, ambient sensor, relays and switch. All other lights work fine... just no low or high beam headlights.

try checking the connections at the high low beam switch on the steering column

exact same problem as "In the dark" except i do have high beam. This is what i use do drive around with. I checked the connections at the stearing column everything appears intact what next?
