2003 Suburban Axle Fluid Capacities
I have a 2003 Suburban / 1500 / 5.3L / four-wheel drive (not all-wheel drive). I've searched numerous sources and wondering if someone here has the actual fluid capacities based on the normal maintenance procedure of draining and refilling. Would like to only make one trip to the Chevy store and don't want to be short on some fluid after I've drained it. I can post RPO codes if someone could tell me which ones apply to my vehicle. Knowing the correct codes and equipment on my vehicle would be a great help in the future.
Thank you
Richard

A 1 qt bottle of brake fluid should be enough to do the job.
approx
FA/TC: 1.5 qts
RA: 2.5 qts
Gear oil keeps fine. I buy extra and keep the remainder for next time.

Thank you for the reply. Making a list to make things easier. Found some breakdowns of the RPO codes on my specific vehicle which helps make more sense of what capacities I'm looking for.
