theres a few different lengths of plugs gm would use depending on the engine, some people think the closer the spark is to the TDC the more power they can get. which is true to a point. if you make contact (like yours has made) you will have no or very little spark. after someone installed the wrong plug it looks as if they installed the spark plug anti fouler to bring the electrode away from the piston. i would take your vin and take it to a parts store to get the proper plugs. but if they try and sell you the longer threaded plug like you currently have you might have heads on your engine that didnt come from the factory and you need to specify you need the shorter threaded plugs.

Welcome to the forum. Do all if the plugs have the anti-fouler installed?

Did someone put the crushed plug back in with the anti fouler?
