Default 2007 LTZ Universal Remote Problems

Hi All - We just picked up our new 2007 Tahoe LTZ (Black/Cashmere). We are having problems programming the Universal Remote system.(Ours has the 3 led lights.)Our garage door which has the rolling codes worked fine. So we are assuming that the unit is functioning. However we live in a gated community where our gates use a 2 button system (one for entry and one for exit). The remote with that uses 12 DIP switches. We've tried programming per the instructions in the manual - it didn't work. We then tried calling GM Customer Service. The call center in Argentina couldn't help either. They said take it toa dealer.

In searching the forums I saw this topic earlier. However the soltion was not posted - just reports of getting it fixed.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!!!!

Default RE: 2007 LTZ Universal Remote Problems

I have the 12 pin (no rolling code) and I can't get mine to work either. It SUCKS!!!!. I have to throw a crappy remote in the center storage. I've tried a hundred times to program with no luck.
