RE: 2007 Power Source

That is great info, and those are great pictures, BUT we're looking for Retained Accessory Power, meaning it ONLY turns off when the the ignition is turned off, the key removed and the driver side door is opened. This would be the source that you would wire TV tuners, etc. so they will work with the ignition turned off, along with the factory radio.

I thought there was a previous post that said there was one available under the right (psgr) side of dash on the side that faces the door.
Any chance you can track down this post for me?

Searched a couple of forums and couldn't find it.Maybe it wasn't RAP after all.
Pretty sure that there is some sort of electrical distribution behind the panel on the right end of the dash tho.

RE: 2007 Power Source

I need help! - I installed my radar detector in my 2007 chevy silverado. Used the invisicord and it worked like a champ.

One problem though. I managed to do some poking in a spot I wasn't supposed to and blew a fuse in the front dash cig lighter. As mentioned in a previous post by someone - can't find that fuse. Anyone have any idea where I can locate the drivers side accessory power / cig lighter fuse? I already checked both 20amp acc power fuses and they are fine. ??? Help!

Problem solved. I found the culprit. The fuse for the drivers side acc outlet is under the hood. Wow. #55 fuse to be exact. Changed out the fuse and I'm back in business. I have a mess of 20 amp fuses now!
