3"-4" Lift Kit for a 2007 tahoe

Hey guys i am brand new to these forums so please forgive me if i don't give enough information.

I am looking to lift my 2007 Chevy Tahoe (2wd). I bought it used from someone who leveled it by lowering the back and inch or 2. From what i can tell the front still has factory springs but the back has aftermarket. My question is what type/brand of a lift kit should i buy and will i need to replace the springs that are in the back with OEM springs before i lift the truck? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

IMO find a local shop that installs lift kits. There are a few to chose from like Rancho, Pro Comp, Fab Tech, Trailmaster which are 4" or greater (to my knowledge there are no 3" lift kits for the NNBS Tahoe). These kits will typically include longer rear springs.

By talking to the shop you can dial in what you want and discuss pros/cons. Some things to consider are: some kits change the front track width, require different offset/backspaced wheels, longer brake lines, etc.

Good luck and let us know what you end up with.
