Question 99 Suburban starts but quits

I have replaced the fuel pump and the fuel pump relay. Pump runs a few seconds at turn of the key and builds pressure mid 50psi to start and then nothing? I can cycle the key and will start again and die again.

Please Help I need the truck running

Is the relay following the pump? As in, is the relay dropping, then picking up when you cycle the key?

New dosen't mean anything. Is the pump not operating when the relay is energized? Need to determine if it is the relay control or the pump at fault.

You should do with the ignition switch on, feel if the realy is energizing, pull it, put it back in the socket, back and forth ect. That will determine if the relay is picked up, and running the pump. If you don't have gas, and the relay is energized, need to look elsewhere.

If the relay is energized, I'd look first for a fuse.
