aftermarket torque spec.?

hello !
i own 2003 tahoe 5.2l T
i have aftermarket wheel..Helo. Hawk..22"..it's chrome
i found that the oem torque spec is 140 ft-lb
can i use this tightening torque spec to my aftermarket rim?

I always use the factory spec on my personal wheels which are aftermarket and on all of my customers also. Never had any problem.

If they're aluminum, that would work. Don't forget to re-torque after 50 miles.

Kudos to you for taking the time to torque them correctly and not just monkey them on as tight as you can get them :)
