A few codes I found that list possible causes, you may need to dig a little deeper for the code level..

DTC B0081 0F: Passenger Presence System Erratic

DTC B0081 3A: Passenger Presence System Incorrect Component Installed

DTC B0081 4B: Passenger Presence System Calibration Not Learned

DTC B0081 5A: Passenger Presence System Plausibility Failure

DTC B0081 39: Passenger Presence System Internal Electronic Failure

DTC B0081 71: Passenger Presence System Invalid Serial Data Received

Those codes sound like the airbag was not replaced properly.

no recall for this cause its not injuring people...unlike the tekata airbag recalls.

the passenger presence system is about seat detection not the airbag itself. Checking the restraint system wiring under the seat would be a good start. they had issues with the connectors to the seats on the encalves; which resulted in cutting out the connectors and hardwiring it....which meant it would be a pita if you had to remove the seat out of the vehicle.
