Always-on fog lights on '09 Tahoe?

Hey all,

Haven't found a definitive answer on this one yet... Can anyone tell me if there is a pre-wired "module" (for lack of better term) for the new body style (2009, specifically) Tahoe that allows the fog lights to come on automatically when the headlights come on?

I had one such module on my '02 Z71. I believe that I got it from the now-defunct JP Cumstoms, and I can't remember the brand or anything else about it. I just know that it was a relatively simple plug-and-play piece, and it worked perfectly. I simply prefer the look as well as the added light of the fog lights, and would prefer that I not have to turn them on manually.

Thanks, folks!

Self-bump.

No one has a handle on this one? Surely someone makes a module for the new body style Tahoes... Please chime in if you can shed some light on this!

Thanks,

the last time I did something like that it was just a matter of putting a relay in place of what you wanted to turn on, but now days so much is module controlled they freak out if you by-pass anything.
Thou I bet you could still wire in a relay for this situation

I know it's been a few years, but, since I am looking for the same thing, I figured this is a good place to post what I found:

GM Auto Fogs Mods for 1999-2021 Silverado and Sierra
https://boostautoparts.com/products/...33014985883783

Note that it works for many other models and their page has all the details and links to YouTube videos for the installation. Simple and no cutting for those that don't want to make any major changes but have this function.
