Anyone have an opinion on the Kumho Ecsta STX tires?

I'm in the process of buying 24's this week, read all sorts of reviews on tires from tirerack, but it seems like the reviews aren't tire size specific, just of the tire itself in all sizes. From what I've read, this has been a great reviewed tire for the money. I would be buying a set of 305/35/24 and my 2 main concerns are treadwear and noise comfort....if anyone can throw their 2 cents worth in here before I make a purchase, or would recommend a different tire in or around the same price range please do so. thanks guys!

RE: Anyone have an opinion on the Kumho Ecsta STX tires?

I'm running 24's.

Kumho's aregood tires. I had a set before.
They handle well, wear the same as most high performance tires.
They are quiet, they handle wet weather good and even a little ice.

Kumho, Nitto, Toyo, BF, Pirelli.

I'd go with any of those.

Right now I'm running Toyo. They are great too.

I was watching Unique Whips and Castro changed out a set of Toyos for Pirelli.
I thought that was retarded. Pirelli's may cost more but the tread on them looks crappy. IMO.

Castro rides Pirelli's nuts a little too much.
