Automatic Door Locking

On my '08 Tahoe I only have two choices for automatic door locking: 1)from park into any gear,or 2) after vehicle reaches 8 mph.

Has anyone figured out a way NOT to have the doors automatically lock??

Kind of annoys me too but that's the way it has to be. I'm guessing there is no simple fuse to pull.

The option to disable the Autolock feature is no longer (since 2005) in the user menu within the DIC however the dealer can reprogram your vehicles BCM via Tis2Web so that the option to turn off Autolock (use the locks manually) is present upon the owners request.

Via ZX;
Have your dealer reference Document #1985807 for instructions.

I had this done immediately after ZX posted the TSB number and it works great, dealer had no problem doing it with no charge and was glad I brought in the TSB number also.
