Chevrolet Forum - Chevy Enthusiasts Forums - Backup camera problem on 09 hoe

I installed new camera and when I shift in to the reverse screen shows service backup camera system or something like that.
So I took small LCD TV and pluged the camera to it and when I shift to reverse I can see the image on the TV, I also plugged my video camera to the Nav to test and I can see the image on the NAV.
But when I connect the backup camera to the Nav it doesn’t work. Is it possible that the Nav input is looking for video signal strength and it’s not there.
Any ideas.
