Bad Fuel pump regulator, Bad injector symptoms?

Hi fellow Chevy enthusiasts. I was wondering if any of you might have any experience or knowledge about common fuel pressure regulator or bad injector symptoms. Today i noticed very sluggish and shaky acceleration in my 96 Tahoe and it made me guess possible fuel delivery problems. Any help is appreciated thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum...
I would recommend checking the fuel pressure, its an easy and telling diagnostic..
The injectors can and do ware, if they have over 120k miles on them I would consider having them serviced.

Thanks for the quick response:). However, when you say service injectors, do you mean ..say seafoam possibly? Or what other method would you suggest. I believe the injectors have never been changed and are the problematic OEM which i have heard tend to clogg up. I dont want to go throwing parts for no reason also. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Iv'e heard good and bad about seafoam so i dont know what to do. Thanks

+1 for checking fuel pressure

oem injectors problems are kinda uncommon. They are not problematic Unless you are talking about port injection spiders. Fuel injection service will help keep them clean but rarely fix clogged injectors. add injector cleaner to the tank at every oil change as another preventative measure.

if you have a scan tool check fuel trim during a hard sustained acceleration. if its ok at idle but adding (over 10%) on both banks on accel...you probably need a pump

Check out BG fuel service at a local supplier.

Will def try BG tommorow ill give it a shot. Also if i may add, i own a 96 tahoe and was told the oe injectors tend to leak or clogg often and to do an MFI injector conversion i believe? I also notice the smell of gas when i run the truck making me narrow it down to possible, 1. Fuel presuure regulator, 2. Injectors need replacing, 4. possible fuel pump. Gonna give Bg a try but not expecting a miracle. WHat do you guys think would it be wise to replace all 3 items? thanks:)
