If your control arm bushings are squeaking, they're either polyurethane or the rubber has torn loose inside the bushing. Normally there's no movement between the bushing and anything else. The rubber is bonded and just twists as the control arm moves.

The shock bushings should not have any relative movement either if they are tightened properly.

The roll bar bushings do have movement so lubing there might help but would make sure to use a lube compatible w/ rubber.

Well, something must be moving. The dude says it is a new Tahoe. So either some points were lubes or there is still some pre-delivery devices still on the car that were not removed before he picked it up. My Suburban is a 93 so it creaks til the dogs come home but a new one shouldnt do that.

Update: Had the car in the Workshop for 5 days and I got it back with exactly the same problem. After some discussion I got a replacement car and now they are changing both front shock absorbers....

I have seen the sway bar bushings at the ends do this, you can spray then down with lightly with WD40 and will stop the creeking. Do not go over board with the spray as dirt will start to stick.

Just a light spray on the rubber circle bushings and control arm bushings.

For as mentioned above ball joints and upper bushings will cause this for sure.

White Lithium grease is much better than WD40 for lubrication.

Or if you don't want dirt to collect on the lube, use a silicone spray.

FYI They changed both front shock absorbers. They said that there is "something" wrong with them. Anyway problem solved...

If you went airborne with 10" of air under your front tires, you probably damaged the shocks upon compression.
The thing was built as a daily driver 99.9% of the time.

If the shocks were making the noise it would only be making noise on a bumpy road.
Would not matter if you were turning.
Did it make noise when turning on a smooth road?

Then why do I own the Z71 package if it doesn't change the way how to use the car? I am not saying that it should withstand this kind of treatment but i mean to say that buying an off road package should indeed make the car suitable for off road. And if you ever went off road you will agree with me that we cannot always avoid some questionable scenarios.

When the steering was straight there was no sound at all. I tried it several times and I verified it with the mechanic. Only while turning left or right and upon compression of the shocks they would make a creaking sound.
