door squeeeek
 

my drivers door squeeks when opening / closing / over bumps on the highway

200x at the dealer.. no luck... must be from working around air tools for 40 years... anyway.

I found the source, it is coming from where the 2 panels meet in the front...

if I put my finger between the door and the panels I get no squeek... NONE :)

I tried some weather stripping to no luck, and paper, and double sidded tape...

I was thinking some kind of lube (no jokes now) between them might work

WD-40 seems to eat plastic, so what can I use?

it goes back to the dealer today for another issue, so I will have them look at it now that I can show them and reproduce it on site...

this would be an amazing truck if it just WORKED to expectations...

Might try silicone grease.
