Easy Exit Seats Question

I haven a 07 LT3 Tahoe and I love it. I have the12 way power seat option for both driver and passenger. How do you get the easy exit option to work. I went in the DIC and programed it but nothing seems to work. There is a button on the driver side door that will move the seat back when you press it but it has to be done manually. I also own a Corvette and when you remove theignition key it automatically slides the seat back. When you get back in you insert the key and the seat will go back to memory. Isn't that the way it works on a Tahoe?I checked the remotes but I don see a number 1 or 2 on them. Does anyone out there have this option and how do you get it to work.......

RE: Easy Exit Seats Question

I have an 07 Suburban LTZ and the easy-exit works for me. As soon as I remove the key the seat moves to the exit position. Not much help, I know, except to say that all you really should have to do is set the DIC option and it should start working immediately.

RE: Easy Exit Seats Question

Is there maybe something in the Owner's manual which discusses this topic? I know in my '01 the manual discusses ways to change programming for such things as door unlock/lock when key is removed from ignition, put in gear, etc. Just a thought.

Is it possible that you already have the seat moved all the way back?
