Getting wiring in and out of an '07

I'm planning to install a lot of 2 way radio gear (ham gear) in my '07 Tahoe. Are there any good places on the firewall to bring wiring and coaxial cable from the engine compartment to the interior?

GOOD LUCK! Unless you drill one there really isn't a good place. But I will tell you where a gromet is. If you follow the cable for your parking brake, it goes under the carpet to a gromet you can slit to allow a wire to pass. Just seal it up with some Silicone RTV. If I were you, I'd run a 12 guage wire to a distribution block.

From all the dead battery posts I read lately you might want to install a second battery as well.

Love the optimas myself. Had them in 2 past cars with no problems and great results. Got me thinking now to upgrade.
