head unit for my truck

I did some searching around and couldn't find much so I thought I would ask, I just replaced my factory sub that I have in the back of my truck with a new Sony 8" sub because the old one went bad it kept bottoming out, the new one does sound slot better and I'm pleased. the stock head unit has buttons falling off and I'm looking to replace it with something new that I can plug my I pod into. I was thinking just get a $60 one from best buy so I got something that looks nice and works I figure with the mounting kit and harness I would be right around $100. The question I have is with the sun I'm the back do I need a special harness or special head unit or will the normal stuff work? Sorry I forgot to mention I have an 01 suburban ls just the normal stereo with a single disk

Try a company called "Online Car Stereo".

You are lucky. GM started systematically

eliminating the radio position on the ignition

switch after 2002.

In the event you have this issue, you will need a

"dataport adapter" for any new head unit.
