my tahoe has stop going into vortec and when i reach 70mph she acts like she cant give anymore can someone help me there is a checkengin light on but it truns on and off more off than on

WHATYEAR IS TRUCK? WHAT ARE THE CODES IN COMPUTER? I HAVE SEEN MAY PARTIALLY CLOGGED FUEL FILTERS ON THESE TRUCKS CAUSING A LEAN CONDITION. HOWEVER NOT REALLY SUR WHAT YOU ARE TRYING TO SAY WITH "STOP GOING INTO VORTEC"

YOU NEED A SCAN TOOL OR A CODE READER. AUTO ZONE WILL SCAN IT FOR FREE. WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOUR FUEL FILTER WAS REPLACED ?BASED ON YOUR DESCRIPTION AND MY EXPERIENCE YOU MORE THAN LIKELY NEED TO REPLACE IT.THE CODE MAY HELP VERIFY IT. ESPECIALLY IF IT IS A PO 171 LEAN BANK 1 AND PO 174 LEAN BANK 2. GET THE CODE AND I MAYBE ABLE TO HELP BETTER.
