The infamous leftover part problem

I had to remove the front passenger seat on a 2007 Tahoe I just bought, to clean old dried vomit out of the carpet between it and the center console. When I went to reinstall the seat, I found this on the floor. I can't find it on any parts diagram for this seat. Looks like it might go to the seat belt that mounts on the C pillar, but I can't figure out where, or what its purpose is. The Tahoe also has an ebony interior so the color has me thrown a little. Any help appreciated.

looks like the seat buckle bracket cover on the B pillar.

Okay I'm interior trim parts challenged

Never mind. I found out where it goes, where the seat belt is attached to the C pillar. How it got down to the floor I have no idea.

Thanks Irish_alley!

Yes that's it. B pillar not C as I stated. I was going to delete the thread because I found the location, but decided to leave it in the event that someone else finds one of these floating around under their seats and can't figure out where it came from :D
