I’m looking at a 2004 Silverado short bed single cab 5.3 165k miles for 2500. Known issue is when it’s warm it’s sometimes testy with starting. Option #2 2005 suburban, been in a friends family it’s whole life and well maintained. 5.3 185k miles for $3k. Known issues are the blend door for the heat( only works on one side) air works fine and I’m in Florida so that’s fine. Other issue the the gas vent? Causes filling up taking more time and a check engine light. I think pretty inexpensive fix. Just have to drop the tank to do it. Looking for advice, buy one over the other or none? Thanks
