Default MAF Sensor Cleaning

Are there any recommendations on how often or when you should clean your maf? I'm at 160K and have never cleaned mine.

If you maintain your air filter, you should be good. If you want to clean or inspect it, that would be a good idea. Use an approved maf cleaner also.

ditto
use oem air filters. aftermarket and performance air filters do not meet the filtering requirements to protect the maf. The maf is expensive so spend the extra money for the factory filter.

Clean it only if the fuel trim is askew. Majority of the time cleaning a problem maf doesn't work and a new maf is needed.
