Default My first chevrolet disappointment

I am a big believer in chevrolet vehicles. Over the past 25 years my wife and I lease or buy a two new ones every three years. This year we actually get a private offer from Chevy for 2 k off any new 15 or 16 Tahoe. Offer expires 8/31. I had ordered a 2016 tahoe in June. I was very happy. Timed it right. 8/31 came and went. No truck. Constraints I was told. One constraint was ltz, another was the 20" wheels( the same wheels from last year). And lastly the new red. They have siren red for all the other cars they are making but not my Tahoe.
Now that the offer is expired, I get notice the truck is built.
Will be in the dealer in October.

Just not fair.

If you ordered it before the expiration date, they should honor it. Call Chevrolet customer service!!

Cancel the order, and buy a Model X

Or refuse delivery until they honor the 2k.

The profit on these is like 10-15k per vehicle. it should be a no brainer to keep you happy.

There is no phone number on the offer. I would have called and asked for an extension.
I think chevrolet should extend the offer as well. Not just because it's me, but because I ordered it the first day an order could be made. It will be my third nbs Tahoe/suburban in a year.

I would also believe the offer should apply to date order, not date received.

of course it's cheaper for them to sell you an existing one vs. building a new one.

When I ordered it. I figured 1 month or so from order to delivery. In theory it would have been an existing unit. I did not order it based on the offer. I just thought I finally had good timing.

If they want your business, they will knock off 2k for you, that is nothing considering the mark up is already around 18%... you go in there to sign the paperwork and present your coupon and they say nope, no its expired, you go oh, oh well never mind then I don't want it and get up to leave... people will scramble to get that 2,000 coupon approved..

Wife actually sent an email to chevrolet. They actually called and said that they would not honor the coupon offer. But they said call them back and they would tell us what promotions were available at the time. (BIG DEAL)

The truck will sit there until the the same offer is available.
All Chevrolet current offers plus the 2k after the negotiated price.

I would demand they honor the $2k offer. If they can't do that for a customer with your history they don't deserve your business, and I'd walk away from the deal.

I can't imagine the dealer won't find a way to make it happen if they know you are serious about cancelling the sale.
