OEM fog lights - how to improve

The fog lights on my 2005 Tahoe always seemed useless in the fog. Has anyone had luck switching over to aftermarket models? Or is just a matter of switching bulbs?

The other disappointment is the lenses crack so easily.

Looks like these guys have affordable replacements
Best Price Mirror @ Amazon.com:

Thinking I'll just get these and fiddle with the bulbs.

Try piaa. Someone told me there's a replacement bulb.

I am hoping they will make one for the nbs, soon.

Interesting. Looks like there is a Nokya extreme yellow bulb, too. Thanks for the tip!

Alternate Fog Lamp Bulbs

I know this is an older thread, but it depends on which Bulb is OEM...

If you have the 893, then see...
- SEARCH

If it's the 880, then see...

And if it's the 9145/H10 then see...

You don't have to buy them from these guys, but these are pretty good
charts on what's available.

Hope this helps,
S.W.
