Oversized Rotors for 1999 K2500 Suburban

I overheated my front brakes over the Rocky Mountains last week. My truck shudders when the brakes are applied.

The stock disks are about the size of something you would find on a Volkswagen Jetta. They are dwarfed by the front brakes on my Porsche.

Even before the overheat, braking was poor. To improve braking, I plan on going to 17 or 18 inch wheels, wider tires, and steel braded brake lines. I would also like to go to larger, cross drilled disks, bigger/better calibers and cermic brake pads.

Can someone recommend a vendor/product for the my 8 lug 1999 K2500 that would meet my needs?
