Please help me remove my driveshaft.

How the heck do you remove the driveshaft?

Right now the steering knuckle is just connected by the ball joints (which i'm trying to replace).

I can't seem to wiggle it out no matter which way I go. The manual says to disconnect the top of the steering knuckle from the upper control arm. In order to do that, don't you have to push the top balljoint out?

I'm at a loss. Please help.

Yes. It is necessary to drop the frontend (differential)down a bit to get enough clearance to remove the drive shaft. On trucks that have been lifted, this is usually not a problem. Be sure to support the differential with a jack, etc.. If you are using a shop manual, this should have been explained. If not, get one.
