Radio cutting out!
 

My radio in 1997 4 door 4x4 tahoe is cutting out and won't come back on until you turn the key off and then turn it back on again. the radio does not lose power, just no sound after about 30 seconds to a minute of play. I tried changing the factory unit out with an aftermarket radio and it still does the same thing. Thanks for the help

In your case there is an obvious problem with the power source to the radio. Could be as simple as replacing a fuse that is faulty but not quite as bad as most that burn out.

I've got it somewhat figured out. I think a wire is shorting out on the right side of the vehicle. I balanced the radio all the way to the left and it hasn't cut out again. Thanks for the help.
