Right side Brake runs hot.
 

My 2007 Sub front brake on the right side runs hotter than the left. I replaced the caliper and rotor, brake line and tomorrow Im replacing the hub. My question is what is the runnout on the rotor supposed to be? If replacing the hub dosent fix the problem, I dont know what els to do.

If you're having trouble with the run-out after initial turning, re-indexing usually will help.

If you are having trouble with the caliper dragging there is a possibility the hose going to the caliper could be collapsing internally keeping the fluid from retuning to the master cyjinder as it should.

Yes I thought of that. Also replaced the hose too. Seems to be alittle better with the new hub. Will have to take it on a longer drive to find out.

How'd you make the determination it was running hotter then the other side?
Was it giving any other indications, pulling, causing steering wheel pulse?

It started with a wheel shimmy at high speed. Seemed to come and go. Then I noticed the hot brake smell. Then one day comming home from work it did it again, and i saw that the right brake was dragging. Made it home at 25mph. I replaced the caliper which had a stuck piston, but then noticed that side always ran hot. Replaced the hose and rotor. Now have replaced the hub, but the problem has not gone away. Could it be something in the Stablitrac? Cant figure this one out.

I had that problem with my suburban. I was using multipurpose grease to lubricate the guide pins and where the pads sit in the caliper. I cleaned all that off and switched to silicone brake lube and no problem since. Hope this helps.

It is possible the other side is not working correctly and current hot side is picking up the slack. Calipers and brake hoses are always recommend to do in pairs.

Well folks I figured it out. Turns out the "rebuilt" caliper from Adv Auto parts was also defective. Swapped it out with another and low and behold it works!!! So lesson learned here? Even a new part might not be right. Sometimes. Just my luck I guess. But thanks for all of your input. It really did help.
