Right turn squeal

Whats up gents?

I noticed today that my 07 Tahoe LTZ has a slight squeal when I turn to the right. Mainly when I'm parking. It only happens when turned to the right. It has 10,000 miles. I drive it daily and noticed this today. I heard something and turned down the music in time to hear it. Now I'm noticing it is happening.

What do you think it could be?

Can you tell if it is tire squeal or PS pump squeal? Does it happen only at full lock or on any low speed right turn?

I get a little tire squeal in freshly sealed (smooth &b slick) parking lots but have to have window down to hear it.

PS Squeal.

I had the windows up with and you can hear it coming from passenger side.

Can't believe PS has a leak or already wore something out.

I'm not to knowledgeable about the steering components.

Also it happens before full locked right. I was not turning real hard.

Damn, now I gotta wait at the dealer all day for them to tell me nothings wrong.

Any update on this? Because I am experiencing the same noise....mostly on right turns in parking lots.

Thanks!

if it is the power steering...it is normal operation. All power steering pumps on all vehicles do this. You are at the very end of rack, and the pump is goin at full blast. which is why you get the noise. Just back it offa hair and the noise goes away.
If your tires are squeeling, could be as shark said, freshly sealed pavement, could be low tire pressure, and also could be out of alignment. Particularily toe-out-on-turns.
