Welcome to the forum.
Here's what I found at Chevrolet's Accessory Store. Not sure if they'd work w/ the Power Boards tho. But since they clear the stock boards, there's a good chance they will. Also check w/ your parts dept. as they may have more stuff. |
Yeah, I already did and they will not work!

Then you're probably out of luck unless you can find something in the aftermarket.

I believe that you can loosen the bolts supporting the steps and slide the step back. This will allow the use of the painted moulded splash guard. The dealers will not install the splash guards, as GM states that they do not fit vehicles with articulated steps. This is true for both the Chevrolet / GMC and Cadillacs.
Please take a look at the step mounts and loosen the allen mounting bolts. (please do not remove the bolts, just loosen them. Then slide the running board back enough to clear the front splash guard. The rear splash guards are not a problem, as they are mounted on the rear of the rear wheel well. Another alternative is to install the rear splash guards and use the 3m paint protector on the front. Some have taken this approach. You may want to take a look at the Cadillac forums. There is a discussion about the articulated steps and installing flaps. Mud flaps /articulating running boards If you live in the Northern States, when you are under the truck, you should make sure that you lube the hinges and bracket and spray all components with a rust inhibitor. It would be a shame to see the steps seize up in the winter. Good luck with your install. |
It's half way into July 2017 and Chevy still hasn't figured out that their Suburban (long) side step interferes with finding mud flaps to fit?
Somebody is either horribly lazy or they just don't care at Chevy. I'm here in looking for a mud flap solution as I've wasted a day of the dealers time trying to fit flaps that are essentially forward facing scoops. Not well thought out at all. Coop |
