Tire size fitment question
My yearning for all terrain tires has kicked up again, and I was looking at the Cooper Discoverer STT Pro's. First of all they look awesome! lol! 2nd, I've heard nothing but good things about them online and on youtube. BUT the only thing is the closest size that I could find that I'm willing to put on the stock GM OEM 20's, is LT295-55-R20. My 07 Tahoe has stock suspension with the OEM air ride in the rear.
Will I experience any issues with rubbing or turning with rubbing with this size tire on the stock GM 20's? Overall diameter on coopers site for this size is 33.07" and a tread width of 10.2", not sure if that helps in determining if rubbing will occur.
Just a sidenote: I'm a tire lover. I will probably never ever take my Tahoe off-road. It is my winter snow driving work horse. So in short, these tires will only see snow covered roads. I know its over-kill. lol!

The SST's should do quite well for wet/slush and have good wet traction, but, I don't think they're quite "gnarly" enough to deal with much snow. (light snow maybe)
