Tire size

First of all, thanks for all the great feedback on my sunroof question. I was wondering what would be the largest tire size I could put on my 2007 Tahoe LT3 without lifting it or modifying it. Can I squeeze 33" or 285? Thanks in advance for your feedback.

You will have to cut out of your air dam, and wheel well in order to fit them....I still rub a little bit even with a leveling kit.

How does this compare regarding sidewall height and tire width vs. stock tires?

Here is a handy calculator for comparing tire sizes.

I just upgraded from the stock 17" wheels to an OEM GMCYUKON 20" wheel with 285/50/20 Cooper Zeon LTZ tires and they fit great. No rub at all.I think it might have raised the front end a little but not enough to tell a difference.

If you currently have the 20" OEMs, I'd be interested in taking them off your hands.

I actually bought them off Ebay because I just couldn't find an aftermarket wheel I liked with the correct offset etc. They really look great in my opinion and my old Tire Pressure Monitors fit perfect. My wife would probably shoot me if I sold these...I had to beg and budget for3 months just to get them!!
