Towing

I have a 95 suburban k2500 with the 454 and 410 gears...does anyone know what the towing capacity is?

Jeff Collision Jun 26, 2013 6:17 AM

Chevrolet Suburban K2500 model had a maximum towing rating of 7,500 lbs.

hmmmm. Only 7500? with a 454 BB and 4.10 rear end? i think some further investigation is needed. But gm is very strange on towing...

I agree, that 7500 seems low, check my specs out in my signature.

Now, if you call any Dealer, you're probably going to get a stock answer saying it's 7000 lbs. They say that for anything they don't have direct information about. So, you can be assured of putting that behind you. You might just check with your local DPS office, and see if they have any "opinion" about it, since they're the ones who will site you, if you're overweight.
