Universal Backup Sensor?

For those who don't have the backup sensor in their Tahoes, did you guys install an universal one? If so, which one do you recommend?

Thanks!

a wireless backup camera can't be too much more, and will give you 100x more info...

i'd go w/that

Mine came built in, so I do not have experience w/any.

All I know is once you have a back-up cam, nothing else will do...

I can hook up a trailer in seconds, I can backup to 2" off stuff no problem... its just so nice.

wireless cameras are junk. you really do get what you pay for

Auto-i makes great sensors with a visual display. They get you within 1ft before they beep constant
your vehicle would probably work best with the OEM-P400 kit

I just got a 09 LT1 so the P400 kit will be the perfect match?

I was thinking about getting the camera one for my dad's excursion, backing that bus up is a nightmare...

what's so 'junk' about them?

they cut out all the time with the slightest bit of inteferance.

The kit will not be a perfect match in colour unless you get them painted
