XM v Sirius

XM v Sirius
I have 3 Sirius subscriptions, 1 in a car and 2 'floating' units.
I bought a new Tahoe, which has XM.
I am selling the old Tahoe, which had Sirius.
Can I have XM and Sirius subscriptions on the same account?
has anyone run into this?
I want to basically have my primary as the XM, and 2 sirius ones.
BUT... will I still get the 2nd and 3rd discount or will this be 2 single acounts, and then a secondary account...
does that make sense?

Me too. Threaten to cancel, and they roll over pretty easily. I was told in the beginning of 2009 that they're going to start offering multi-receiver discounts in June for subscribers with both XM and Sirius receivers.

That's true only in the program material beamed up to the satellites. Both entities do have common progeam material. XM and Sirius are still unique to one another as far as the technology used to stream the digital data from the satellitesto your receiver, and it will remain that way for years I imagine. From what I've been told the 2 companies still have separate billing and administrative operations as well. That should change shortly.
