'05 Sunroof troubles
 

The sun shade on our Yukon XL needs repaired, as the bracket that attaches it to the sliders has become detached. The bracket, or parts of it, are rattling around in my roof. Drives me NUTS!
My question is, how do I remove the headliner? I have a DVD system, as well as the standard HVAC stuff. I'm not going to pay the dealer the $1200 they want to repair it. I'm assuming it will be pretty simple once I can get to it. I've just never removed a headliner.

The last one I did was on an '80 Cutlass but I doubt they've changed much. Had to remove all of the pillar trim and any other trim overlapping the headliner. I believe the new ones are also attached w/ some of the plastic push-pin type fasteners like the ones on door panels. You will have to drop the DVD player too.
